Polaris is currently accepting applications for the following position(s):

Classroom Teacher
Full-Time Position: 190 days per year

Non-traditional, multi-age, project-based elementary school seeking motivated & knowledgeable 1-6th grade teachers to work in a collaborative, creative, and positive environment.  Teachers will teach to a small classroom size in a school of 112 students.   NH Elementary Ed certification is preferred.

Applicants must also submit personal written responses to two of the following three essay questions:

  • How would you arrange a multi-age classroom that helps all students to thrive?
  • What does inter-disciplinary, project-based education mean to you?  In your response, include examples from your own experience.
  • What special strengths, talents and background experiences might you bring to Polaris Charter School?

Part-Time Position: 30 hrs/week

Job Summary: Educational Assistants at Polaris Charter School will support teachers in creating a joyful and exciting learning community. Polaris Educational Assistants will work with teachers of multi-age classes by assisting them with implementing a project-oriented, interdisciplinary curriculum.

Part-Time Position: 4-5 hours, Twice a Week; School Year only (36 weeks)
