There will be no school on November 5th as parent-student-teacher conferences will be held. There are also conference times available after early dismissal on November 6th. An online sign-up form was emailed by teachers this week. Here is the link again: http://www.wejoinin.com/sheets/gtbnp. Remember that your child should attend the conference as well. Please make every effort to leave younger children at home.
At conferences, there will be sign-up sheets for upcoming school/PEF events. As charter school funding is so low, we need families to volunteer time so our school can function well. We realize many of you work and are not available during the school day however there are opportunities to help that can be done from home or on an evening or weekend. Documenting the involvement of our families also makes it possible to apply for grants. We would appreciate it if every family committed to volunteering 10 hours a year toward making the children’s experience at Polaris the best it can be! Please sign up to help at conferences!
Congratulations to Ayla, Emma, Katie, Emmett, Jennifer and Spencer who were selected as this week’s star students for their contributions to their classroom community.
